Tanya Kessling has over 16 years of pelvic floor Physiotherapy experience. She will help you to feel relaxed and comfortable in a private room during your assessment. You will see significant changes within 1-2 sessions, due to her experience and breadth of training.
One third of women suffer from a pelvic floor concern, especially incontinence. Critical times in a woman’s life to have pelvic floor assessment and education are during and after pregnancy, around menopause, and after any pelvic surgery.
Pelvic floor physiotherapy can help to improve bladder and bowel incontinence/leaks, urgency, frequency (peeing a lot), prolapse, concerns after childbirth or with aging, constipation, pain during sex, incomplete emptying of bladder, concerns after surgery or trauma to the pelvic region, and overuse of pelvic muscles.
Pelvic floor treatment will include exercises, instructions/education, biofeedback, and more.
