Catherine Fiocco is passionate about vestibular physiotherapy, helping you to feel at home while assessing and treating your dizziness/balance condition. Catherine will perform a comprehensive examination, including your full history of symptoms and a medical history, eye movement tracking through infrared technology, coordination, balance testing, eye reflex testing, neck testing, screening for brain conditions, screening for benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) and other conditions of the inner ear, positional testing and motion sensitivity testing. Treatment is personalized, based on examination findings, and may include positioning maneuvers (similar to Epley, if appropriate), balance training, eye exercises, neck stretching/strengthening, manual therapy (hands-on treatment), joint position sense training (proprioception), motion desensitization or habituation, screen exercises, reflex training, and/or instructions/education.
